Content:

This course addresses the legal challenges in marketing and sales, with a focus on European law. The primary topics covered include:

  • European Trademark Law: Understanding the regulations and protections for trademarks within the EU.
  • European Competition Law: Exploring the laws that govern competition to ensure fair practices within the European market.
  • European Data Protection Law: Examining the legal framework for data privacy and protection, including GDPR.
  • European E-Commerce Law: Analyzing the regulations that impact online commercial activities in Europe.
  • EU Supply Chain Directive: Studying the guidelines and legal requirements for supply chain management within the EU.

Additionally, the module provides an in-depth examination of sustainability in smartphone manufacturing, with particular emphasis on the relevant legal and ethical considerations. The course also features an excursion within Europe; however, participation is limited, and attendees are required to bear their own expenses.
