Exchange students
If you are a student at one of our partner universities and want to experience one semester or an academic year abroad, you are welcome to apply at NGU Nuertingen-Geislingen University.
NGU has agreements with many different partner universities in the world. Please apply at your home university for one of the slots at NGU. Kindly note that you can only be accepted as an Erasmus or exchange student provided that your university has an agreement with us (see list of partner universities).
Deadlines for spring/summer term:
Nomination deadline: November 15th
Application deadline: December 15th
Deadlines for fall/winter term:
Nomination deadline: June 15th
Application deadline: July 1st
Once you have been nominated by your home university, you will receive an email with further instructions on how to complete the online application and enrolment. All student exchanges are coordinated through NGU's International Office.
Language Pre-requisites
A level of B2/Upper intermediate in English according to CEFR is required.

Degree Seeking Students
The application for a full bachelor's or master's degree program takes place completely online and has certain deadlines.
Before submitting your application, please inform yourself about the criteria for the admission and selection procedure. If you have any questions regarding the content or subject of your study or the bonus, please get in touch with the contact person of the respective study degree program.

Bachelor's degree programs
At the moment, we do not offer any bachelor's degree programs that are completely taught in English. You do need to submit a German language certificate with your application. However, in some study programs, certain courses are taught in English.

Master's degree programs
We offer four master's degree programs that are taught completely in English:
- International Finance (M.Sc.)
- International Management (MBA)
- International Master of Landscape Architecture (M.Eng.) (A1 German is required after begin of the study)
- Sustainable Mobilities (M.Sc.)
All other master's degree programs are taught in German. A couple of courses are taught in English. However, this depends on the degree study program.

Fees
If you are an Erasmus student or an exchange student of one of our partner universities you have to pay a semester fee amounting to 98,90 EURO each semester. This fee has to be paid in EURO and in advance through your bank account, via bank transfer. Before you send your complete enrolment documents, you should immediately transfer the money as follows:

Please note that we do not accept check-payments of any sort. Once we have received your payment, your enrolment becomes effective. Please keep in mind that payments can take up to 4 weeks and that your bank might charge you an extra service fee. The semester fee includes
- a contribution to the Studentenwerk (Student Services)
- a contribution to the Student Association and
- for the Greater Stuttgart Transport Association what allows you to use buses and trains free of charge from Monday - Friday from 6 p.m. and at the weekends within the Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart region *. You just need to present your StudiCard.
Semester contribution
All students have to pay the semester contribution of currently € 188.10 within a certain period each semester.
Tuition fees
Starting from the winter semester 2017/18 there will be additional tuition fees for non EU-citizens (€ 1,500.00) and people who want to start a second degree study (€ 650.00).

For participants of the part-time master's degree programs "Finance and Management", "Business Process Management" and "Traffic-, Criminal- and Insurance Law" there are special regulations and payment conditions. Please contact the relevant school for details.
